Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya Movie Review and HQ Wallpapers
Off late most romantic comedies start with the accidental encounter of a spirited girl and a reticent guy, who subsequently set off on an unexpected journey. Same is the case here though their first encounter leads to an impromptu abduction! Also most love stories end with the bride running away on her wedding day to her real Prince charming. Over here the bride remains in place though they opt for a husband interchange in the marriage mandap. The alterations might be minor but, in totality, it helps this regular rom-com gain an identity of its own.

LONDON PARIS NEW YORK Movie Review... Rating: 3.5/5

Rom-coms appear to be the most preferential genre, notwithstanding the fact that you can foretell where the narrative is headed a few minutes into the film. But what sets most rom-coms apart is the implementation of the theme. It all hinges on how persuasively the narrator recounts and executes the plot, how compelling the central characters are, how mesmeric is their chemistry on screen and most importantly, does the cinematic account have soul?

Windows 8 To Be Unveiled On February 29th By Microsoft

Microsoft revealed plans to unveil a test version of its latest Windows computer operating software later this month.

The US technology titan sent out invitations to a "Windows ConsumerPreview" event to be held on February 29 at a hotel in Barcelona during a Mobile World Congress gathering in that city.

Microsoft promised to release more information closer to the end of the month.

The introduction of a test, or beta, version of Windows 8 to the public is expected to be accompanied by the opening of an " app store" stocked with mini-programs tailored for the next-generation operating system.

In December, Microsoft began wooing developers for a February opening of its first Windows Store intended to feature third-party applications crafted for computers powered by the Redmond, Washington-based firm's software.

Who gave the Title MegaStar to Chiranjeevi? And when was it given?

"Who gave the title megastar to chiranjeevi? And when was it given?' these are the questions that many people want to know the answers across the state. Here, we come up with solid answers to your questions.

K.S.Rama Rao of 'Creative Commercials' produced a movie named 'Marana Mrudangam' in the year, 1988. A.Kodanda Rami Reddy directed this movie. This movie was released on 4th August, 1988. We can see the name, 'MEGASTAR CHIRANJEEVI' in the titles of the movie and that was the first time for Chiranjeevi to be shown as Megastar. So, K.S.Rama Rao is considered to be the man who gave the title megastar to chiranjeevi. However, the title got much popularity only when the stylish song, 'Star Star Megastar' from 'Kodama Simham' was picturized beautifully. The movie was released in the year, 1990. Then onwards, 'Megastar' title was turned out to be the surname of Chiranjeevi and surprisingly, the word, 'Mega' got popularity in all the fields in Andhra Pradesh.

The Artist: Movie Review.... Verdict: Outstanding

Simplicity was missing all this while from the movies until The Artist came along.

Just as you are on the verge of losing faith in the prominence of 'pure undiluted acting' in films, Artist restores your belief in the magic of performances and simple storytelling over modern day high production values.

A heart-warming ode to the glorious era of silent cinema, The Artist proves 'Silence indeed speaks louder than words'! The 10 Oscar nominations and various wins at international festivals are very well deserving.

Confidence!!!

A hypothetical situation where 20 CEOs board an airplane and are told
that the flight that they are about to take is the first-ever to feature
Pilotless technology: It is an uncrewed aircraft. Each one of the CEOs
is then told, privately, that their company's software is running the
aircraft's automatic pilot system. Nineteen of the CEOs promptly leave
the aircraft, each offering a different type of excuse.

One CEO alone remains on board the jet, seeming very calm indeed. Asked
why he is so confident in this first uncrewed flight, he replies : "If
it is the same software that runs my company's IT systems, this plane
won't even take off." !!!!

That is called Confidence!
!

Do not Worry if others do not understand you, Worry only if you can not understand yourself

Baby giraffes never go to a business school. But they learn a very important management lesson early in life. A lesson that all of us would do well to remember.

The birth of a baby giraffe is quite an earth-shaking event. The baby falls from its mother’s womb, some eight feet above the ground. It shrivels up and lies still, too weak to move. The mother giraffe lovingly lowers her neck to kiss the baby giraffe. And then something incredible happens. She lifts her long leg and kicks the baby giraffe, sending it flying up in the air and tumbling down on the ground.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance: Film Review

A water-treading sequel offering just enough kooky color to keep less-discerning funnybook fans occupied, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance nudges its obscure hero's mythology forward a bit without seeming to care much how it gets there. Its modest box office prospects are helped by the absence of other superhero competitors over the next couple of weeks.

Safe House Movie Review... Rating: 4/5

Story: One is an alleged CIA traitor. The other is a CIA agent incharge of looking after the former in a safe house. But when the safe house is attacked, the two realise the safe house - and their life -- is hardly safe.

Movie Review: The highs: Loads of gunshots, ruthless cop-criminal Q&A sessions, cars ramming into each other, long chases through the streets ofCape Town and the slums of Langa, smart and snazzy action cuts involving solid hand punches and enough energy to keep spirits up. The lows: Nothing that you have never seen before. But then are we complaining? Not really, especially when it's Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds calling the shots.

The Woman in Black Movie Review: Rating 4/5

Story: Arthur Kipps is on a mission to a far off English village. He is out there to settle a complicated property dispute. Little does he know there are things more complicated (ghostly and creepy) awaiting his arrival.

Movie Review: Abracadabra! Avada Kedavra! The boy wizard has grown up. How else do you explain Daniel Radcliffe -- as a widower and busy-yet-caring father -- for pulling it off pretty well when there are hardly any dialogues to deliver... when everything depends on his expression (fear to be precise)... and when the real hero of the movie is none other than the woman in black. But then, who is this woman in black?

?: A question mark Movie Review.... Rating: 4/5

Story: A group of seven students travel to a place, surrounded by trees, to shoot a final year project film. All that is found later is a camera with the footage of their film

Movie Review: In times of information overload, garnering eyeballs is tough task for any experimental filmmaker. But the makers of ? appear to have hit upon a marvelously inventive idea of attracting attention. By just naming their film the way they have seems to have raised online curiosity and become possible fodder for tweets.

Ekk Deewana Tha Review... Rating 3.25/5

Story: A Hindu boy falls in love with a Christian girl. The difference in religion makes it a no-no relationship. But the boy is determined to find love

Movie Review: He sees her for the first time on the street, walking slowly towards him like poetry in motion. She is dressed in a black sari and matching blouse; her pitch-dark hair caressing her body. And in that singular moment, Sachin ( Prateik), a mechanical engineer who wants to make movies, is transformed into a butterfly of uncontrollable desire. He is smitten and finds himself walking on air.

7 facts you should know about Blu-ray disc

When it comes to Blu-ray discs, most of us are usually only aware that it is an optical disc storage medium, which is a step a head of DVDs, and can store a large amount of data. The disc can enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition videos (HD). But there's more to know. Here are some Blu-ray facts that we think we should all know:
1. The name Blu-ray has been derived from the underlying technology, which utilises a blue-violet laser to read and write data.
2. Its correct abbreviation is BD, not BR or BRD.

3. The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs. A single-layer disc can hold 25GB, while a dual-layer disc can hold 50GB of data.
4. The spelling of "Blu-ray" is not a mistake, the character "e" was advertently dropped so that the term could be registered as a trademark.
5. Over 9 hours of high-definition (HD) video can be stored on a 50GB disc, and around 23 hours of standard-definition (SD) video can be fit on a 50GB disc.
6. The Blu-ray disc shows high-definition movies up to full HD 1080p resolution, while a DVD shows standard-definition movies up to 480p resolution.
7. The wide acceptability of the Blu-ray disc format was not easy, as there was another competitor in the fray. Blu-ray and HD DVD are two formats, which competed to come as the next generation high-definition DVD format to replace standard DVD. A format war reminiscent of the VHS vs Betamax battle of the 1980s. Blu-ray and HD DVD players were made commercially available starting in 2006. But in early 2008, a point came when several studios and distributors shifted to Blu-ray disc. As a result, on February 19, 2008, Toshiba, the then chariman company for the HD DVD Forum, abandoned the format, announcing it would no longer develop or manufacture HD DVD players or drives, thereby ceding the format war to Blu-ray.

Review: Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is a treat

He's cream cheese. She's white chocolate. What a peculiarly milky combination, I thought at first. What I didn't realise is how these two pasty ingredients can combine to create a light, smooth-textured cheese cake.

And that is exactly how Karan Johar's  Valentine's Day treat Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (EMAET), directed by debutante Shakun Batra tastes.

Rom-coms are an enduring albeit foreseeable genre, be it local, Hollywood or exotic. What sets them apart is how they play out in terms of treatment, imagination, voices, chemistry or soul.

EMAET is neither on the epic side like Dharma Productions' great, grand ancestors nor weighed down by an overload of pop culture references of those that define the genre. Instead the confection's appeal lies in its underplayed wit, quirky within plausibility protagonists and a refreshing disregard for conventional conclusions.

Almost like a big studio flick with an indie mindset. Almost.

Save for a passing acknowledgement to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai , the sensibility and reference points of Batra's brand of romance, co-written with Ayesha Devitre, are closer to the likes of (500) Days of Summer, Garden State and Annie Hall, reflecting on interrelated themes like, opposites attract, coming-of-age-aided-by-a-free spirited-girl, modern-day relationships and urban humour.

The writing doesn't have the smarts of the afore-mentioned films or the bite of, say, Farhan Akhtar's  contemporary conversation but EMAET's endearing, unassuming quality and refusal to take the run-of-the-mill route, like Dharma's Wake Up Sid , makes it a much better film than I expected to see. What's more? It's barely two hours.

So you have two doozy characters living in the exuberant city of Las Vegas  (captured splendidly in David Mac Donald's lovingly lit frames). Imran Khan  plays Rahul Kapoor, a product of upscale, uptight, fussy upbringing (a subdued Boman Irani , Ratna Pathak in an exaggerated version of her character from Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai).

Along comes Kareena Kapoor  as Riana Braganza, the hairstylist with red highlights, representing her carefree ways and relaxed rearing by a super cool Catholic family.

The curious case of extremes doesn't stop here. He drives a Prius. She rides a nitro scooter. He's lackluster. She's livewire. He got fired. She got dumped. And in a drunken stupor, the duo accidentally gets married. This is the part where any/all alleged similarities to What Happens in Vegas end.

So while Riana's two-years older than Rahul technicality is never a topic of speculation, their camaraderie is more Lucy-Linus than Lucy-Schroeder. She pulls his ears, pinches his nose, bullies him and gets away with everything. He's happy playing second fiddle. For all their attractive looks, together they make a platonic, U/A impression. But it seems deliberate and works.

Once in a while, you pause to ask why neither of them has a single friend? Okay so Rahul is a mollycoddled introvert but what about Riana? The girl's practically Miss Congeniality.

The ensuing episodes gradually unfold into disarming interactions between Rahul and Riana, revealing their contrasting traits, opening avenues for amusing banter against Amit Trivedi's zingy score, Vegas and its many gamble-free attractions. Considering it does little except provide fun props, glittery backdrops and a venue for the impromptu wedding, the city's contribution is largely superficial. And so once the gimmick bag is exhausted, the story moves to Mumbai .

Typically at this juncture, most rom-coms lose steam or turn trite but Batra allows Rahul and Riana's story to chart its own natural progression unafraid to see where it goes. The upshot is as real as our first introduction into the warm-as-a-bun, funny-without-trying-hard Braganza household. While on fun, the frequency of its well-timed, droll moments is much appreciated. Especially: Imran's disastrous date, his job interview at a Japanese firm or his hostile but hilarious attack with a piece of cutlery on a deserving candidate.

Imran is tailor made for this role. I read somewhere how he harbored a secret crush on Kareena for the longest time. No wonder the gleam in his eyes when he gazes into hers screams fan boy. Sweet thrills aside, his Rahul is a self-effacing underachiever and Imran's puny physique, stiff body language and understated hesitation score adequately.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is told from his perspective but belongs to Kareena Kapoor. After doing ornamental roles in films like Bodyguard and Ra.One, it's nice to see the spunky actress in her element again since Jab We Met . Though vivacious, her Riana isn't a child-woman like Geet but a free-spirited, unflappable adult armed with plucky impulses and scrumptious smile that helps Rahul come-of-age and EMAET worth a helping.
