Siddharth‘s and Amala Paul‘s Love Failure seems to be just the right reason for all the love birds out there to extend their Valentine’s Day celebration.
The movie begins with Arun (Siddharth) narrating his love story. His love interestParvathi (Amala Paul) is a girl undergoing the pain of seeing her parents getting divorced. At this moment of mental trauma when she needs a shoulder to cry on she finds Siddharth with whom she can share these feelings. Siddharth being the understanding friend comforts her and she unknowingly falls in love with him and him with her.
The story gradually moves on and shows the typical lover’s tiffs. These small meaningless misunderstandings create distance between them. Parvathi being the more stubborn person out of the two fails to understand the small compromises of the relationship .this ends up in constant breakups and patch ups. The first half of the movie moves on smoothly as compared to the second half of the movie. The second half seems to be dragging but doesn’t completely throw you of track.
The dialogues of the movie are well written and editing is good too. The cinematography is very well done. The songs are nice and hummable. The music director Thaman has done a good job. The director of the movie Balaji Mohan has done a fair job of translating a regular story in a new and refreshing way. The movie is fairly well directed. The movie is produced under the banner Talkies entertainment.
The climax though like the entire movie is predictable where misunderstandings lose and love meets. The couple gets along at the end of the movie to give a happy and warm feeling to audience watching it especially young lovebirds. It’s a movie where the young audience can easily connect.
The acting skills of Siddharth and Amala Paul are the high points of the movie. The leading lady has indeed supported the movie by good acting. A sweet romantic comedy with nice hummable tunes is a sure good end to the Valentine’s Day week.
