Cast and Crew of Mahesh's '3 Rascals'

3 Rascals is the title chosen for the remake of 3 Idiots in Telugu. Director Shankar confirmed this to a newspaper in Chennai. Mahesh Babu will play the principle lead actor played by Aamir Khan in the original. In the Tamil version, Vijay will be doing it. In both the Telugu and Tamil versions, the other two important roles will be played by Sriram (originally done by Sharman Joshi) and Tamil hero Jeeva (originally played by Madhavan). Ileana is the heroine for both the versions. Satya Raj is playing college professor.  Haaris Jayaraj is handling the music while Manoj Paramhamsa (of Ye Maaya Chesave fame) is the director of photography. Gemini Film Circuits is producing it. Regular shoot commences in Chennai from December 1st week.
