BSNL to introduce @ 3G Landline Phone with Video Calling Facility



State run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is all set ready to launch the next generation 3G Fixed Wireless Land-Line Phone with video calling facility and 3G HSPA internet access. BSNL is largest 3G player in the nation covering 820 plus cities in various circles. By owning an enormous network coverage, it could easily facilitate the 3G connectivity services to masses. The new BSNL 3G Fixed Land-line phone works on GSM network for providing high quality 3G services. This allows user to make video calling, access high-speed internet up to 3.6 Mbps, have fun with Mobile TV, enjoy 3G multimedia services, SMS and also make voice calling.
According to BSNL, the 3G Fixed Wireless Land-line Phone will be made available across the metro cities in India. This device will cost around Rs.5500. The device appears like normal WLL like phone offered with Tata Indicom and other operators. The device comes with 3.2 inch LCD screen that can tilted vertically to 45 degrees for user comfortable calling. Users can now surf internet over the phone via pre-loaded mini-browser and it also let you navigate thru various services it offers. BSNL 3G FWP comes with self-charge battery facility for an un-interrupted usage.
BSNL will introduce special FRC of Rs. 249 (Incl. of S. Tax) wherein subscriber will get Free 75 min Voice call On-net, 50 min Free Voice call Off-net, 75 min Free Video call On-net, 50 min Free Video call Off-net, Free 150 Local SMS Any Network,Free 100 National SMS Any Network and 250 MB Free 3G Data usage valid for 30 days. Beyond free usage 3G special prepaid plan tariff will be applicable call, sms and data usage. Subscribers will allow to recharge with prepaid 3G Data STVs and talk time recharges for further usage.
