Water shortage: Bollywood to blame :)

What's the reason for the world's water shortage? Bollywood, according to Pakistani newspaper Jang. "Water shortage is a key global issue. And what is the reason for this shortage? Believe it or not, Bollywood films," said a report in the Urdu daily.

The paper said that in "Dabangg", a scene showing Sonakshi Sinha in the rain "used 1,80,000 litres of water." It also said that another film dealing with the 2007 Mumbai floods (apparently, " Tum Mile") used 36,00,000 litres for filming just one scene of the deluge, while "My Name Is Khan" used 24,00,000 litres of water. "All this was not ordinary water, but specially ordered and purified water," it said, noting that potable water is not available for half of India's population. ""De Dana Dan", like its name, wasted water de dana dan – 84,00,000 litres," it said, adding that James Cameron, for filming "Titanic", only needed 4,50,000 litres of water.
